Our First 10 Years

Truck Transport Inc is proud to announce that April 1, 2022 marks our 35th year in business. Leading up to that date we will share a look back at our history to celebrate where we’ve started, recognize where we have come from, as well as look forward to our future growth and opportunities.

Let’s look back on the First 10 Years

1987 -

John B TeBrake and Don De Ronde purchased two IH cabover trucks and flatbed trailers from Jerry Ammerman with Midwest Transport. This was the beginning of our business.

John and Don operated under Midwest Transport’s authority until they were able to acquire their own, establishing Truck Transport, Inc.

Truck Transport moved agriculture equipment from Willmar Manufacturing to the Midwest states and transported steel and lumber back to Minnesota. A few years later, John and Don were able to hire more drivers, as well as lease additional trucks as well.

1994 -

The Truck Transport Inc office and shop was built at our current location at 3475 County Road 15 SW in Willmar, Minnesota.

1995 - 1996

The company purchased their first removable gooseneck trailer to meet the demand for transporting large application equipment. As the demand for oversized equipment grew, so did the Truck Transport fleet. In fact, John even designed slide -out outriggers for an XL specialized removable gooseneck trailer to assist in moving oversized equipment in an efficient and safe way.
